Regency Figured Mahogany Library Table

The top of this beautiful table was water damaged and also bleached out by the sun.

The top was carefully cleaned and the water marks removed using a weak solution of oxalic acid.

Then the top was re-stained using Vandyke crystals, then traditionally french polished to a rich nutty colour.
